Whether it is getting a patient out of pain, restoring a troubled esthetic area, or giving a patient the ability to eat again - providing a patient with confidence and functioning teeth, in any capacity, is such a reward. Continuing Education & Professional Memberships

Dr. Smith enjoys extending his knowledge in the dental field through continuing education courses. The courses vary from the latest cosmetic techniques to the newest methods in implant dentistry. He is also certified in WaveOne Endodontic Reciprocation and Invisalign. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and is an established member of the Doctor Mastery Program.

Life & Hobbies

Dr. Smith grew up in the northern Virginia area. After he finished school & residency, he started practicing in Alexandria, VA before moving out west to open Mountain Crest dental in 2017. When he isn't caring for his patients, Dr. Smith enjoys spending time with his wife Meagan, son Cameron, and daughter Parker. He played soccer for many years, but now enjoys tennis and skiing. He is also an avid hiker, and enjoys taking his dog Winnie for long hikes around the valley. Dr. Smith loves traveling and exploring new places, but he will always be happy at home spending time with his family.

Life & Hobbies

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Yap has been married to his wonderful wife, Jesi, since 2013. The couple has four children together - Jade, Mason, and twins Seth and Brady. In Dr. Yap’s free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, grilling, hiking, and camping.
